Bellator 284 will see two deities battle as Neiman Gracie and Goethe Yamauchi fight for control.
It’s a tough showdown at Bellator 284, as Neiman Gracie and Goti Yamauchi battle it out between Bellator’s best wrestlers. Gracie is of course a member of the famous MMA family he shares a name with and is probably the best of his generation. He has nine shows to his name and is 11-3 overall. He’s up against Yamauchi, who has had more wins than anyone else in Bellator history. His nine performances in the company are a record but he also has a whopping 21.
This will be a top-ranking wrestling showdown, and while you likely won’t see a KO or TKO of any kind with these two guys, if you appreciate high-level wrestling, this is the main event for you.
That’s not all. Former Bellator Heavyweight Champion Valentin Moldavsky returned to the Bellator cage after losing to Ryan Bader, which united the heavyweight titles. Moldavsky faces Steve Morey, an undefeated potential customer who takes a huge leap in the competition.
The always tough Bruna Eileen competes with former Bellator flyweight champ Elma Lee McFarlane, who is in a two-game losing streak, a first in her career. Fans will also see Said Soma, who could be in line for a heavyweight title fight if he manages to score two more wins.
Plus Austin Vanderford returns to the cage after being attacked by Giggard Moussassi in his middleweight match. Vanderford will be hoping to get back on the winning path after losing his first career by facing Aaron Jeffrey.
